In this video I give 4 simple, quick, free actions that you can take each day (or as often as you feel) to quickly alkalise your body. It’s a great little 10-minute detox that is super-powerful and energising, yet so easy! WARNING: You will feel great after doing these things! 🙂
Also in this 15-minute video, I share the inadvertent killer addition to meals. This is something that most people do in their every day cooking, thinking that it’s healthy but is really silently sabotaging their good health. It has very harmful consequences on our bodies! Pay close attention to what it is and the alternative solution I provide.

Wow! I didn’t know that I should not heat olive oil, I’ve been doing that all this time thinking I was eating healthy, and to think I could have my olive oil serve a much longer time using it how it should be used, cold! Thanks for the info.
Hi Laura, Thanx for the links to your videos. I was really looking forward to watching & learning from them but unfortunately as I use my iPad I can’t watch the videos as you need flash player to watch them & iPad & flash are not compatible 🙁 , so unless you make your vids with a iPad friendly program there’s the chance you will loose customers like myself and others that I noticed had commented about this.
I check my ph everyday and it’s 7.1 following a vegan green diet after major surgery.
How do I do the big leap to 7.4
I currently have 2 green juices a day
And to treat one fruit juice pear &grapes(both high alkaline fruits)
I have a question about supplements. I have arthritis and have been taking Glucosamine, Chondroitine and MSM as well as Fish oil for years along with a variety of vitamins. Should I continue to take with my new alkaline diet??
Thanks for sharing so much information. I am new to the alkaline diet and have found what is and isn’t alkalining confusing so your videos have clear it up immensly for me. Do you have any comments on prepackaged green smoothies or pills for those days when we know that we haven’t quite eaten correctly. I am going on a long road trip and am concerned about finding fresh veggies everywhere I go.
Thanks.
HI Laura,
At the beginning of January, I did test moderately acidic. I have so many questions, and I dont know where to start.
To start, I want to do a good detox. My holilistic/nutritionist recommend that I do a 21 day detox using the Essiac tea. That has proven nothing but constipate me, and my face has broke out terribly.
Almost 2 yrs ago, I had a siezure, my own stupid fault!!!I I was struggling with sleep, and took some lorazapam. Took it for about 2 months, and I ran out. After the 3rd day of not taking it, I had the siezure due to withdrawls. Ever since then, I have lightheadedness, and I still struggle with sleep. I have had every test known to man, I have been seen by 2 brain docs, and everything says there is nothing wrong with my brain.
However, all the dcotors in the last year, all they want to do is put me meds for depression. I AM NOT DEPRESSED!! I am a single parent, raising 2 children. I really do have ALOT of good in my. We are in a very good place, both phyisicaly and mentally.
How do I make this appealing to my kids, and I would like to lose 8-10 pounds.
Any advice, or a response would be greatly appriciated.
Thank you,
Yvonne
Could you tell me what category spices fall into, saffron, (my favourite), and garlic, thanks
Why hot water? Doesn’t it kill all the chemicals that should stay there? Where did you get this recipe?
Moderately hot water, not boiling – this kills the enzymes yes
Hi, followed this diet about 4 years ago, and never felt healthier or fitter for that matter, back on again, and starting to feel good again, thank’s for all the information you send out, and the recipes are great. That wasn’t available the last time, thanks again
Great to hear Diane! You’re welcome for the information 🙂
Laura
Definitely going to try it. By the way, how long should we do the breathing exercise n the dry skin brushing? Thanks for sharing.
I have been following your very helpful tips to alkalize my body. For the last four years I’ve had very severe restless legs and been unable to find a cure other than medication. This is the first time I’ve been able to go through an afternoon without using the medication and not feel jittery and jumpy and unable to think clearly. Thank you so much for the information you are giving. I believe you are a true Godsend!
Thank you so much for the great information! I am going to try this and let you know how I feel.
Thankyou for helpful videos. Interesting info on oils. You mentioned butter and coconut oil for heating. Coconut oil does flavour food slightly. What about avocado oil which is alkaline and good smoke point?
Thank you so much for your videos! I took up yoga 2 years ago and was taught about the benefits of lemon water and deep breathing. I haven’t done both in a long time now but I’m trying to work it into my life again after I saw your videos. I will definitely try the body brushing and the bouncing (sounds like fun!). I’m also working on my alkaline diet. Taking it one step at a time. Hopefully I will also be able to convert my family.
I do have a question though. A health mentor of mine also believes in the alkalinizing effects of lemon. However, he says that mixing lemon with water makes it acidic. Is that true? He drinks pure lemon juice in the morning. Thanks again and looking forward to more videos!
Thanks Ziella, glad you’re getting back into a good regime 🙂
Lemon in water is alkaline not acidic.
Laura
I can’t thank you enough Laura, it’s all so exciting, I will start having lemon in hot water and try the body brushing and breathing excercises. 🙂 It’s great to have the constent reminding of it, it helps to keeps you focused. Very interesting about the fats, Mum and I were talking about good and bad fats and their smoke points at the weekend. I thought some of the good fats like rapeseed and grapeseed that have a high smoke point were ok to cook with as long as we don’t overheat/burn them! What do you think? Thanks again.
Thanks Chloe 🙂
Interesting question on fats – please watch video 4 again if necessary – coconut oil and butter are only good ones to heat in my view

Thank you for your wonderful website. I have recently had a relapse of lymphoma and your smoothie recipe video and enthusiasm have really helped me to change my eating habits and your tips in this video will really help me with the lymphoma as it will re energise my lymphatic system. Watching you make the smoothie really helped. So I think it would have been a little better to have watched you dry brush and bounce or rebound and do the deep breathing. Having the written PDF is great as well as we can have it posted as a reminder to do these things each day. I am really looking forward to your next video and becoming a member of your Vitality Group.
And as a bonus for me following your guide so far I have lost eight pounds without even trying! You are magic!
Sincerely
, Lesley Thompson (Florida)
Thank you very much Lesley 🙂
I drop it in twitter to my 1400 folowers 🙂
Thank you Maris
I always had a squeeze of lemon in my water, will now try upping that to see it’s effect.
The breathing exercise left me a little light headed, but fantastic and will continue to do it regularly!
Although I dont use a lot of fat in my diet, I found your video about them very interesting!
I am glad that we met as you are definitely my kinda girl! Lovin’ all of the new information that you are voicing.
I will be sharing this on my FB and telling all at work about you!! Keep going Laura, great stuff!!
Hi Zoe,
Yes, keep with the breathing, it’s great! It’s a big hit of oxygen if you’re not used to it, so that’ll explain the head rush – like being on oxygen mask when giving birth I guess lol.
Thanks for your kind comments! Look forward to seeing you again at a Seeker gig soon too 🙂
Laura
I am attempting to change our eating habits. I want to say thank-you.
Cheers, Jacqueline
You’re most welcome Jacqueline, stick with the good changes!
Laura
I have really enjoyed watching your videos today. My natropath talks to me about an alkaline diet but it is a lot to remember – having you go over it and confirm information makes this a very useful stite!
Hi Jacqui,
I’m glad the vids are a good reminder of what you’re learning from your naturopath
Best of health to you,
Laura

Hi Roy,
Thanks for your feedback. I am glad that you’re going to do the detox – this is a great start and yes, there is a lot more – contained in the main Alkaline Diet Vitality programme.
You sound like you’re doing very well on your path back to amazing health, I hope I can help you with this.
Thanks and best wishes,
Laura 🙂
Dear Laura. I completlly injoy learning from you.. I shared already with my friends some of your training.. Natasa, thank you so much!
I really appreciate your e-mails and feedback, it’s very encouraging to me too! My aim is to provide great value and inspiration – I know how hard it is to start and stick with a good alkaline eating regime, especially if people around you are not supportive. So hopefully, we can all benefit from this and build a community of healthy eaters!
Laura 🙂
Excellent videos I like the words coming up as well as voice, and the extra encouragement.
we are still trying, Christmas was extremely hard, a few family hassels causes stress doesn’t help the acidin the body.
